Assistant Warehouse Manager
Kolkata Leather Complex (Bantala), India
Responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, managing raw hides and leather goods materials inventory, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining strict quality control audits.
Key Requirements:
3+ years of experience in material management or logistics coordination
Familiarity with leather supply chains or bulk manufacturing is preferred
Strong organizational, record-keeping, and communication skills
Responsible for overseeing our 50,000 sq. ft. production facility, coordinating equipment maintenance, managing safety and BSCI compliance standards, and supervising administrative facility staff.
Key Requirements:
5+ years of facilities management or industrial plant administration experience
Deep understanding of social accountability audits and safety regulations (BSCI experience highly desired)
Proven leadership skills with capability to handle vendor coordination and technical systems maintenance
